- BIOGRAPHY -

MAURO GIAMBOI

During the university years the passion for music became more tangible while studying composition at the conservatory and jazz harmony and electronic music as a personal passion. For more than two decades I have experimented with digital sampling and since then, besides personal compositions, I have worked on several commercials, short films and documentaries, lately focusing on orchestral works, ethnic music, sound design and a combination of all these musical languages.

I see composing for movies and accompanying images with my music as a gateway to infinite imagination and the perfect way to put together musical sensibility and technical skills.

May it be a spiritual growth movie, a documentary or wonderfully imaginative film, short or feature, the Music I write will serve the whole project deepening and enriching it.

I have been always surrounded by music for my whole life and since my early years my family educated me to the great composers works and how to appreciate the great directors sensibility while interpreting each nuance of those masterpieces.

I have then started my journey through composition in my high school years studying harmony while playing in a pop/rock band.
